St Tropez Gradual Tan Review
Hey Everyone!
I am 100% for Xen-Tan, especially after I had the worst St Tropez spray tan a couple of years ago. I picked up Elle Magazine, which had a sizeable St Tropez gradual tan as a freebie. I have been trying this gradual tan out, and I feel like I'm ready to tell you what I think about it.
About
This Gradual tanner is described as being a moisturising medium/dark gradual tanning lotion. It has soothing ingredients such as Aloe Vera, which would be good if your skin needed cooling. This product retails between £12.00/£13.00.
Verdict
I do agree that this gradual tan is moisturising, and it has more of an Golden tone compared to Xen-Tan, which has more of an Olive undertone. I must say it does have a strong perfume smell, that does go into a normal tanning scent. If you are funny with scents, then I would not recommend this product to you. I personally would not use this on its own, as I would worry about it streaking because I'm useless with gradual tanners anyway. However, I have been using this as a tan extender alongside my "Xen Tan" Mist Intense, and I have really been liking it. I think because I already have a colour to my skin, there is little chance of this tan streaking, as I already have my Xen tan applied. I would recommend this as a tan extension, and it is really moisturising.
Would I repurchase ?
If I was a St Tropez user then I would re-purchase this, but I think I will purchase the Xen-Tan Gradual tanner next time.
