❤Elemis FreshSkin Softly Softly & Dreamy Sleep Moisturiser Review❤

Hi Lovelies!
You know I love my skincare haha!! - So today I have a review of the Elemis FreshSkin* Softly Softly Day Moisturiser and the Dreamy Sleep Moisturiser. I have been really enjoying using the Elemis FreshSkin range and it seems to be just perfect for my normal/combination skin. The range is aimed at late teens - late twenties, which I think is really amazing and innovative on Elemis' behalf. The FreshSkin range is more affordable, but offers a really high standard of skincare to a younger audience. For a while I was using really rich products and they were totally clogging my skin up, so recently my FreshSkin range has been my go to skincare regime. There are quite a few reviews on the FreshSkin range, but not many on these two products together, so I hope you will find this post useful. Also, I have an Elemis FreshSkin Discovery Kit up for grabs as part of my 1000 follower giveaway, which is linked at the bottom of the post :).
About the moisturisers ?
The Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser is formulated to hydrate and revitalize your face in preparation for your day. It features Seaweed extract, Rosehip oil and Chamomile, which make it hydrating and soothing a the same time. The Dreamy Sleep Moisturiser is different, as it focuses a lot more on intensive restoration of the skin overnight. The key ingredients are Barley, blackcurrant oil and geranium, which help to replenish and balance the skin overnight. The blackcurrant oil is also excellent for healthy skin cell production, as well as having a soothing Lavender/Chamomile aroma.
Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser
What I like ? - When I started using this product over a month ago now, I really liked its whipped texture, as it feels really creamy, but actually it blends out to be super light weight. It leaves my normal/combination skin feeling hydrated but not at all greasy which is also a great bonus. I also like the cooling feeling it has on my skin, which makes it feel lovely and fresh. The packaging is nice and simple with a really good pump system, which makes the product super easy and hygienic to use. I also haven't had a problem with break outs with either of the the moisturisers.
What I don't like ? - This is a really lovely moisturiser for me as it suits my skin type and leaves it feeling smooth and non greasy. However, both moisturisers retail at £20.00 which might be too expensive for some peoples budget, despite being a more affordable range of Elemis. There is also a lack of SPF which might be a problem for some people who prefer it in their products.

Dreamy Sleep Moisturiser
What I like ? - The Dreamy Sleep Moisturiser has the same lovely whipped formula, but is more intensive than the Daily version. I like to use this one when treating myself to a "pamper night" because after using masks, exfoliators and other products this is a great way to put my skin to rest for the night. It really does replenish my skin and after using it I always wake up with a far more brighter and balanced looking complexion. The scent of both moisturisers is fairly similar, but the light lavender and chamomile smell is really relaxing just before bed.
What I don't like ? - Again, this product is around £20.00 which may be expensive if you are on more of a budget.
[Partly Blended]

Overall ?
Both of these moisturisers are lovely in their own way and the main differences between them is that the daily moisturiser is designed to lightly hydrate and the dreamy moisturiser is designed to replenish and restore your skin over night. They both have a lovely whipped texture with a lovely soft chamomile scent with just a hint of Lavender, which really isn't overpowering. Another lovely advantage is that Elemis do not test on animals and they make the effort to state this on their packaging, which i think is really positive. The price point of £20.00 might be a bit hit and miss for some people, but Elemis is a luxury skincare brand and some of their moisturisers can go up to £135.00, so I think £20.00 is quite a mid-ranged price depending on your budget. The only thing I would say is that if you are more oily then I would recommend you try their Skin Clear range which is in the Blue packaging, as this is more suitable for problem skin. If you really aren't sure, but would like to try the FreshSkin range then you could always check out the discovery kits for both ranges, as you get quite a few products for £20.00. You can find all the products here at the Elemis website if you fancy taking a little look. I hope you have enjoyed this review and please feel free to contact me below or via my social media to the right.

Love
