Winter Foundation: YSL Le Teint Touché Éclat B30 Review
Hey Lovelies!
20 years after the release of one of the most coveted beauty products in the world the "YSL Touché Éclat" YSL have finally graced us with this spectacularly formulated foundation. I have been absolutely loving my YSL Le Touché Éclat Foundation in B30 and thought it totally deserved a rave review. I haven't picked up my Chanel vita Lumière aqua in a while, and since using this beauty I haven't really missed it to be honest.
The formulae is free from opaque powders and instead uses its weightless and unique soft focus gel formulae to effortlessly erase imperfections The foundation is so unique that it is able to interact with the skin To create a naturally radiant look suited to your own skin tone. The foundation also contains oils and Moisturising agents which gives great comfort to the skin whilst wearing it. YSL suggest paring it with a little powder and that is exactly what I do and it works amazingly.
The foundation is also available in an amazing 22 shades which are Beige, Beige Rose and Beige Dore. I feel like YSL have really gone all out to create a foundation that is really quite special. I don't think this foundation would be the best for oily skin types, but a combination skin type could probably get away with using a powder around the t zone like I do.
I would really recommend this foundation for people with normal to dry skin types, and I would also recommend it for combination types paired with a powder. The moisture and luminosity that this foundation offers makes it my number 1 go to foundation for this winter.
The shade b30 is quite Yellow toned which is good for people who perhaps want to correct their skin tone or redness. It's suited to fair skin tones, but I would recommend b40 if you are looking for a shade a little less Yellow toned. I am wearing B30 in the picture above, but have also paired it with a dusting of my Chanel Loose Powder.
The texture of this foundation may look thick but once applied it really blends out to create a lovely light-medium coverage. However, some people have said that they have found layering this foundation has worked to give them their desired coverage. I did find it a little hard to get used to the texture of this foundation at first, but now I am absolutely in love. The packaging is also gorgeous, and the pump can dispense a full pump, and a half a pump which is just amazing. I use one and a half pumps, and find this gives me a natural day time coverage.

What I Love ?
- I love the confidence this foundation gives me
- The texture is so unique and gives the skin the most natural luminosity
- It's packaging is luxurious ( can't go wrong with a beautiful glass bottle)
- In comparison to other high end foundations (Chanel/Dior) it's price is good at £28.00
What I don't love ?
-I have nothing bad to say about this foundation apart from it might not be best suited to people with oily skin. (It stays better with powder)
- I would also say that it did take me a few uses to get used to the texture, and it did take me a few more uses after that to fall in love with it.
- I would suggest getting a sample as YSL are being very generous with their samples for this foundation.
I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies
